Join Us

The Consortium welcomes new members from a diverse range of Voluntary and Community Sector Organisations working with children, young people and families in Rotherham. Our current members range from smaller charities to some of Rotherham’s well established, ‘go-to’ providers, offering a wide range of services.

Membership fees start at £75 per annum for the first 12-months and subsequently follow a tiered structure based on the annual turnover of your organisation.

The benefits our members tell us are all about working equally, having a collective voice to influence change, developing and improving standards, building resilience and capacity, making connections and being part of a network which enables specialist skills, knowledge and expertise to be shared.

Membership

All Consortium Members benefit from the following;

  • Attending monthly meetings and events organised by the Consortium, including networking, guest speakers and workshops.
  • Receiving regular information and news updates, including funding, training, consultation and networking opportunities.
  • Get the ‘big picture’ that no single organisation could achieve alone, with our strategic reps and members sharing local intelligence, front line experience, strategic direction, policy changes and specialist / multi agency knowledge
  • Access to networking events, workshops, subgroups and workforce development opportunities organised by the consortium.

Accredited Membership

As a registered charity, the consortium uses various models of collaboration when bidding for contracts and grants in order to maximise resources and jointly bring funds into the borough.

Members who are interested this way of working can complete a secondary Pre-Qualifying Questionnaire to become an ‘Accredited Member’ and work together with like minded members to deliver innovative, cost-effective projects such as the Smiles for Miles Base Project.
